Function

The Criminal Investigation Bureau is comprised of 8 divisions who are charged with the task of investigating all crimes reported in St. Charles Parish. Each division is led by a Lieutenant and Sergeant with several detectives under their command. Each division specializes in a particular field of expertise such as Criminal Investigations, Juvenile Investigations, Homeland Security, Narcotics Investigations, SRT and Cyber Crimes.
