Major Robinson has worked his way through the ranks while remaining committed to Corrections, since being hired in 1997 by Sheriff Greg Champagne. He attended the Lafourche Post Academy and graduated in the class 99-4.
Education and Training
Major Robinson attended and graduated from Destrehan High School in 1982 and received a football scholarship to attend Mississippi State University, where he studied Physical Education. Various classes and training in the field of Law enforcement will continue to be a part of Major Robinson's career.
Personal Life
Major Robinson was born in New Orleans and was raised in St. Rose, where he currently resides. He has two beautiful children, Anaya and Alvin IV.
