  • Michael J. Fonseca, 27, 125 Ridge Rd., Des Allemands, aggravated battery, on June 16. The subject allegedly spit on his wife and pushed a ladder, causing it to fall on her leg. He also allegedly struck her on the collar bone with a beer bottle.

Burglaries

Thefts

  • Norwood W. Camus II, 17, 3209 Colorado Ave., Kenner, possession of a stolen vehicle, reckless operation, stop signs and yield signs (two counts), on June 16. After stopping the subject for a traffic violation, deputies learned the vehicle he was driving had been reported stolen in Jefferson Parish.
  • Adolph J. Waltz III, 38, 250 Murray Hill, Destrehan, forgery relative to monetary instrument abuse, issuing worthless checks (five counts), and as a fugitive from the Kenner Police Dept., on June 2. Arrested on a warrant issued May 25 for relative to forgery and relative to monetary instrument abuse, the subject allegedly forged and deposited a check into his account on Dec. 23, 2003. He allegedly wrote checks totaling $10,800, all of which were returned NSF. Waltz was also arrested on two other counts of issuing worthless checks.

  • Michael Joseph Roussel, 22, 199 East 12th St., Edgard, simple possession marijuana (3rd offense), on June 11. The arrestee was a passenger in a vehicle deputies stopped for a traffic violation. The subject was arrested after the deputy found a lit marijuana cigarette in plain view.
  • Bruno Simoneaux, 46, 312 Luling Ave., Luling, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, possession of SCH III narcotics to wit Hydrocodone, on June 12. Deputies were dispatched a vehicle was being driven wrecklessly. The officer observed the vehicle and made a traffic stop. The arrestee voluntarily advised he had consumed a narcotic and that he had more pills in his vehicle.
  • Steven Bailey Jr., 23, 208 East 13th St., Edgard, simple possession marijuana (2nd offense), and headlamp requirement, on June 12. The subject was stopped on a headlight violation. The deputy detected a strong odor of burning marijuana emitting from the vehicle and observed a burning marijuana cigarette in plain view on the center of the floor board.

  • Gail H. Cuttino, 37, 196 E. 12th St., Reserve, traveling east on U.S. 61 at I-310, on June 16. Charged with DWI, careless operation, taking contraband into penal institute, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Johanna Prejeant, 28, 123 Jo-Des Ln., Raceland, in the 17200 block of LA 631 in Des Allemands, on June 12. Charged with DWI, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, and driving under suspension.
  • Chad Murray, 21, 13880 River Rd., Destrehan, traveling west on U.S. 61 in Destrehan, on June 12. Charged with DWI, speeding 65 in a 55 mph zone, and possession to wit Vicodin (two counts).
  • Kenneth Musgrove, 20, 105 Barton Ave., Luling, 2217 U.S. 52 in Boutte, on June 13. Charged with DWI (second offense), careless operation, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • George Singleton, 70, PO Box 681, St. Rose, traveling east on I-10, on June 12. Charged with DWI, speeding 84 in a 60 mph zone, and no seatbelt.
  • Brian Authement, 26, 111 Linda St., Lockport, in the 14100 block of U.S. 90 in Paradis, on Juny 13. Charged with DWI (2nd offense), and reckless operation of a motor vehicle
  • Gary Lee Copeland, 58, 80 George Mitchell Rd., Carriere, Miss., traveling north on I-310, on June 6. Charged with DWI and careless operation.
  • Lloyd E. Breazeale Jr., 46, 509 W. Harding Ave., Destrehan, along U.S. 61 at I-310 in St. Rose, on June 6. Charged with DWI and reckless operation.
  • Darrell J. Behre, 44, 144 Clement St., New Sarpy, along LA 48 and I-310 in Destrehan, on June 6. Charged with DWI, careless operation, expired driver's license, open container violation, SCH IV narcotics two counts to wit Hydrocodone, Propoxyphens, SCH III narcotics one count to wit Alprazolam, on June 6.
  • Michael S. Knowles, 30, 272 Marcia Dr., Luling, along Mimosa Avenue and St. Maria Street in Luling, on June 3. Charged with DWI and reckless operation.
  • Rene A. Fuentes, 44, 319 Ormond Village Dr., Destrehan, along U.S. 61 at Marino Street in Norco, on June 2. Charged with DWI, refusal of chemical test, speeding, failure to obey a police officer's signal, improper u-turn, and suspended driver's license.

Incidents

  • Simple Robbery, 18356 River Rd., Montz, on June 16. A suspect captured on video surveillance is being sought for robbery. The white male entered the above location, purchased a single cigar, and exited the store. The man re-entered the store and asked to buy a box of cigars. As the cashier opened the register, the subject pushed her away and took money out of the register. He then fled the scene. The man is identified as a white male in his 20s, approximately 6 feet tall, medium build, with tattoos on his left forearm. He was wearing a white shirt and brown pants. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Wally Fonseca at (985) 783-1135 or (985) 783-6807 or call CrimeStoppers at 1-8877-903-STOP. Citizens do not have to give their name or testify and can receive up to $1,000.
  • Simple Burglary, 2 Summerton Dr., St. Rose, on June 15. A 52-inch TV, a DVD player, a surround-sound system, a receiver, Sony camcorder, fireproof safe, and assorted jewelry, total value unknown, were stolen.
  • Simple Burglary, 340 Mockingbird Ln., St. Rose, on June 15. A pistol and two 7-round magazines, total value $120, were stolen.
  • Theft, 814 Collier Dr., Luling, on June 14. A 26-inch silver and green bike, total value $100, was stolen.
  • Simple Burglary, 208 Johnson St., St. Rose, on June 11. A purse containing miscellaneous credit cards, a debit card, $30 in cash, a wallet and keys, total value $110, were stolen out of a vehicle.
  • Theft, 64 Carriage Ln., Destrehan, in June 11. A Social Security check was stolen out of a mailbox.
  • Simple Burglary, 644 Turtle Creek St., St. Rose, on June 11. A 34-inch wooden interior door, a brass privacy door lock, 96-feet of base molding, a white bathroom sink, a wall-mounted bathroom heater unit, and a vanity, total value $943, were stolen.
  • Theft from Automobile, 150 Janet Dr., St. Rose, on June 12. A digital cable box, valued at $125, was stolen out of a vehicle.
  • Simple Burglary, 113 Fourth St., Boutte, on June 12. Miscellaneous jewelry, valued at $2,090, was stolen.
  • Simple Burglary, 354 Alexander St., Boutte, on June 9. An AM/FM car stereo and CD player, total value $400, were stolen.
  • Simple Burglary, 1490 LA 52, Luling, on June 9. A CD player, four speakers, and a rear bench car seat, total value $800, were stolen.
  • Theft, 15045 LA 18, Hahnville, on June 8. Cash totaling $150 was stolen.
  • Theft, 918 Gassen St., Luling, on June 8. Four tires and rims, total value $1,500, were stolen.
  • Theft, 205 Madewood Dr., Destrehan, on June 8. A 20-inch bike, valued at $400, was stolen.
  • Simple Burglary, 136 Eisenhower St., St. Rose, on June 8. A Ruger interchangeable cylinder, Ruger single-action six-shot, and a hunting knife, total value $315, were stolen.
  • Simple Burglary, 535 Oak St., St. Rose, on June 8. A stereo, DVD player, VCR, camera, tape recorder, and a speaker, total value $1,090, were stolen.
  • Theft, 13527 LA 18, Luling, on June 5. A cell phone, valued at $110, was stolen.
  • Simple Burglary, 163 Dianne Dr., St. Rose, on June 4. A CD player, two amplifiers, and two sub-woofers, total value $550, were stolen.
  • Simple Burglary, 101 Arlington, Montz, on June 5. An AM/FM/CD radio and three speakers, total value $225, wee stolen.
  • Simple Burglary, 122 Lilly St., St. Rose, on June 3. A CD player, valued at $4,000, was stolen.
  • Simple Burglary, 236 Riverwood Dr., St. Rose, on June 3. Assorted jewelry, a laptop computer, and home entertainment speakers, total value uknown, were stolen.
  • Simple Burglary, 2 Summerton St., St. Rose, on June 2. A 52-inch TV, DVD player, surround-sound system, AV receiver, camcorder, assorted jewelry, a fire-proof safe, and $400 in cash, total value $5,150, were stolen.
