Juvenile Justice

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office Juvenile Justice Division (JJD) is staffed by Lieutenant Roanne Sampson (Commander) and Sergeant Keysla Perrilloux (Assistant Commander).

This Division is comprised of two components:
Lieutenant Sampson and Sergeant Perrilloux take on the task of working with troubled juveniles in St. Charles Parish.  The JOMP Program works with non-adjudicated Juveniles (Families in Need of Service, FINS), and the Parish Probation works with adjudicated juveniles from the 29th Judicial Courts of St. Charles Parish.  When additional help is needed for the juvenile and the juvenile’s family, assistance is offered through assisting agencies.

Since the Juvenile Justice Division works closely with the court system they act as liaisons between the Sheriff’s Office and the 29th Judicial Court.
