The Information Technology Division is responsible for:
Maintaining the Sheriff's Office's inter-office data network and the various data applications
This includes designing, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of the system, managing the office's electronic systems, and ensuring the security of the data within
Managing and maintaining over 300 desktop and laptop computers and the 14 plus servers, which are included in the network
Providing network support through a help desk and end-user support coordinator
Technicians are on call around the clock to ensure the system is working properly
Technicians also respond to ad hoc requests for crime reports and write/implement programs
